It has been far too long between drinks.

And secondly:

cost me $34! I feel robbed.

And here is what it looks like as of half an hour ago. Forgive the pile of crap behind it - getting ready for a clean up of the section this weekend.

Looking a bit shabby and in desperate need for a fresh coat of paint. (One winter in the elements is all it takes: lack of garage in a flat is a deal breaker) Think up next will be getting the tappets ground down and a full tune done, though. Maybe some springs, too, since it might pay to roll the lips. I have still yet to decide if I am going to stick with the same colour, or change it up. British Racing Green, steel blue or bright purple all have their attractions.

No need to repaint it Reuben...the Patina look is hot right now...just needs my Avenja plate on it!!

If I had the ridiculous money going to waste that they want for a plate these days then I've had my eye on REVNGR for a while.

Where did you get that rear window grille? :o I want! :D

blekkja

Trademe. I've been looking for one for yonks so it's not going to happen. You'll have to queue up around here, actually.

Related points: where do I get corner clips to stick that bad boy on? I've the central "spade" thing.

You wouldn't loan it to get moulds made up, would you? :P
A few more pics from some different angles would be awesome as well, so we can drool with jealousy!

Molds would be fine, the problem could be replicating the mounting mechanism. It connects to a metal/plastic "spade" for the want of a better word which slips behind the rubber window surround in the middle of the screen. You can see in that photo the end sitting on top. I will also need to track down two clips for the bottom corners but the bulk of it is held on by that central thingy. Will post up some more photos later.
