Reshell is the best case scenario / suggestion at this stage :/

Everything else appeared sound / solid including running gear etc

Do you want my V8 Avenger body shell???

Free to a good home if you want it. Storage is costing an arm and a leg and I'm never going to use it now that I have put the V8 in the wagon.

The body has all been done so it is spotless. It's sitting in primer up in a storage container up in Auckland.

jesus

mate reckons with a Mig welder he'd sort it but that is very VERY tempting!

VERY!

I'm going to put it up on Trademe shortly but if you want to save me the hassle then that will be great.

The storage yard just emailed saying they are increasing the rent from $154 per month to $180 per month so it is just burning a hole in my back pocket and I am never going to get around to using it since I have the wagon build burning through the rest of my $$$$$

I googled car transport quickly last night : would be around $600 (I don't have at the moment)

and looking at it its a deal currently hard not to turn down!

but (always something)

mate reckons he might be able to stich things back together on mine with a mig welder & some time & patience

that and the steel work on your car looks very impressive & I'd hate to be the guy to bend that, and it would end up on my damp lawn outside (though I have scaled back my business so there is floor space here....

so I'm thinking hard about it! (part of me says pop it on the tard & see if you can make some coin back & another part of me want to come for a drive & get it now LOL

earliest I would be available for a roady is weekend 19/20th May or 26/27th, I may have to consult my wife.....

richards offer is a blessing you will be chasing rust on your old shell forever the only downside is swapping the cage over could be costly time consuming and you will need that.
everything else is doable, when you bend the body just trim back bent bits as you go and then you will be left with something that works.

And it beats just having the car sitting in my storage container. It needs to be a bad ass rally car :) :) :)
