Auckland Avenger meet at the Bayswater car show

At least it is over fueled. You are much better off running rich than lean. Both are bad but running lean can kill an engine. I lost a race car engine due to running lean.

When I rebuilt my '75's engine I did all the running in with the engine running rich, just until I could get it on a dyno to make sure I wasnt leaning out.

Less than a week away guys. Hope your are all getting your Avengers ready for the big show.

I will be bringing plenty of free Avenger.co.nz stickers, and I was also thinking of bringing some of my old Avenger sales brochures so we can display them in our windows. I have one with a Van in it for you Mikey.

I still have a lot of people who are up in the air so if you could let me know if you are coming and how many Avengers you are bringing (Ross). I have the number of Avengers hovering somewhere between the 4-7 mark. If we could get 7 Avengers then that would be totally amazing.

How about you out of towners? any of you hamilton guys feel like a trip up to the big smoke to check out the other Avengers?

Any of you who haven't let me know you are coming then let me know. The show starts at 10 but we should meet up somewhere near around 9 so we can all arrive at the same time so we can all be grouped together. Also if we can get more of a fixed number then I can email the organiser and let him know we are coming.

Okay guys.

For those of you who are coming here is the final plan.

The car show is at Bayswater school which is on Bayswater Ave.

For those of you who don't know the shore just get off the motorway at Esmonde Road and head east until you get to a T intersection then head south down Lake Road towards Devonport.

We will all meet up at the McDonalds on the corner of Lake Road and Bayswater Ave at 9am. We will then drive down to the school in a convoy at 9:30 so we can get a good parking spot together at the show.

Thanks heaps for everyone who made it out to the show.

It was cool to see Jack's newly restored Alpine. We only had the top of the line Avengers there with Ross bringing his Alpine and GLS, Jack's Alpine and my Panther.

Can't to see your Avenger Nikolai, the new colour scheme sounds like it will be kick ass.
