Hi Guys.

It had been a long time since our last mini meet in Auckland so I was thinking we could all meet up at the Bayswater Auto Show on March 10th.

It is organised by one of my mates as a fundraiser for the Bayswater School. They have a best club display award which it would be awesome if we could win. Our last record was 5 Avengers but with all the new members in Auckland then I am sure we could double that, and if we could get say 10 Avengers then I would say we would be in with a pretty good chance at the best club award.

The show starts at 10am but I was thinking we could meet up before had, say at 9am so we can get a good spot and all come in together so we can be grouped together.

Let me know if you are keen, if we get enough people interested then I will talk to the organiser and get a spot set aside for us.

BTW Free Avenger.co.nz stickers for anyone who comes along.

Awesome!! So that make 3 of us. Who else is coming?

It should look pretty cool with three 5 speed Avengers lined up together.

I had good news from the panel-beater yesterday, that it's going into paint on Tuesday and I will have it back on Weds/Thurs (28th Feb).. So that leaves me with another 9 days to sort out a few other issues on it! :D

Also, do you know who owns an Aquarius Avenger Wagon? 1974, same color as mine/Richards with the square headlights? As they work right by my house. Maybe I should leave them a note!

avenga

Cool, I can't wait to see it.

Stuie owns that Aquarius Avenger Wagon that came on the last Avenger cruise, but that is a 1975 like mine.

If it is a '74 then it will be a new wagon we haven't seen before. if so, leave him a note.

See if the plate number matchs with this wagon http://www.avenger.co.nz/forum/index.php?topic=236.0

Awesome! that makes 4, who else can make it?

It would be awesome if we could beat our old record of 5 Avengers at a meet.

Looks like I'll need a tow at this rate! Still at panel-beaters, about to go in primer but won't be road legal to get there on the 10th!

I will still come for sure, to catch up with you guys!

I have been promised that I will get the car back on Friday.. :)

However, it still won't have a wof/reg (or cert) to go driving to Bayswater! :(

avenga

Sweet.

I am sure you would get away with it for one trip.

I did the same for the last Auckland meet if you remember, unpainted fibreglass, bonnet held down by duct tape, no wof/reg, dodgy as :)

So many of my mates drive unwof'd and rego's to kumeu etc, or run different plates, like my mates Valiant Pacer said it was a mitsubishi pajero. he does the same thing every year and never been stopped.

Yeah, I'm of the same mindset. I'm sure it'll be all good.

Only lame thing is that it's massively over-fueled right now (most likely due to the small vac leak) so hopefully I can get those fixed on Saturday and then test-drives galore! :D
