Presentation of my Chrysler 180
So almost home, with a carburetor for Chrysler 2 liter automatic turn economy because the fuel in France becomes a ruin!

So I bought it in this state with these rims but a parts inventory that was in the price of the car, the equivalent of 3 Chrysler dismantled!

So my Chrysler is a model in January 1971 and was manufactured at Poissy in France.

Corrosion point of view it is mostly only the superficial surfaces that begin to break, have the feet of front doors at the front fender bolts critical point because of the passage of water when washing the car or at large rain!
Since the purchase I made a lot of repairs as the tightness of the carburetor with an automatic choke back all the pieces of automatic choke that I had in a pocket, the trains running again and camber of the wheels, 4 new shocks and reconditioning 4 brake calipers, because my 180 is equipped with 4 disc brakes unlike Chrysler Centura who have drum brakes in the back!
I will soon replace the rear axle bearing condition in which fuillait and right rear wheel shaft which d?boitait because the ball was set wrong and the oil flowed through the bridge deck trumpet!
That said hours of engine settings were required to have a properly running engine!

However ilreste much work, is still a French car at the base to revive SIMCA at the time, to date very few parts are remanufactured for this model outside of SIMCA in the same period for which there are virtually or almost anything!
My gearbox is borrowed from a speed SIMCA 1301 but despite that we do not find any parts for the gearbox!

On the corrosion be careful especially spar left, below the battery tray, and often the battery acid leaked d?capait paint and spar rusted and pierced!

So far in parts such as stringers if one is not handy for two under the car is good for destruction!
Engineering controls in France increasingly stringent reforms lot of old cars like the Chrysler and that was before every 2 years and will soon move every year!

It is sad but that's how ... :-\

I added a touch staff, as it is a model of January, 1971 I repainted the radiator grill(calender) as the models presented during that presentation(display) on the circuit of Mortefontaine (trial ground from SIMCA and thus small pin of radiator grill(calender) painted in red!!
