Hi Guys. Here are some of the photos I took at the Oldschool Nationals over the weekend.

We had 5 Avengers there. Kiera, Ross, Jared, Andrew and myself.

It was a great long weekend away. Ross and I cruised down on Thursday and stopped off at Smash palace to get some much needed Avenger parts (Photos to come) and then after that we popped in to visit Graeme (Avengerparts) to pick up even more parts.

On Friday Kiera, Ross and I went off to drop off some batteries at a local car enthusiasts place. We spent a few hours there chatting about cars and mods done to them. It was a great way to spend the day waiting for the others to show up.

When we got back to camp Andrew and Jared were waiting for us.

On Saturday we headed off to the tui brewery to watch the gymkhana and have dinner. It was great to see Jared's Avenger smoking up the track.

Had a few car problems on the way back. My brakes locked on and I had to get it towed back to the camp. I put a small ding in the car getting it on the trailer so I will have to do a little body work. There is some rust I have been meaning to deal with so this forces me to fix it up.

On Sunday Clint (Cletus) fixed up my brakes for me. Mega big thanks to him for that.

On the way back up to Auckland Ross and I stopped off at Marton to look at a Chrysler Avenger GLS for sale (pics soon). After that we went our own ways as I wanted to use my new 5 speed for some super cruising at 110KPH. I did Palmerston north to Tokoroa on 36L gas working out to 11L/100KM and that was at a rapid pace. I made it home with only the 1 stop for gas.

On the way home I stopped in to see Mark (Derbs) to drop off an indicator and chat about Avengers which was a welcome break from the all day driving I had just done.

All home safely now. I have everyone who came had as much fun as I did and for those of you who didn't make it here are some pictures to enjoy.

Your car looked awesome doing skids. One of the most fun to watch and extra bonus points for doing the whole thing with your elbow out the window.

black and white is good, nice and simple and easy to get

I always wanted to do my race car in some bright colours or strips or something. You see all the top rally cars and they are all really colourful.

On the way down to that Nats we passed a few rally cars.

Emma Gilmour's Subaru.

And Richard Mason's Subaru.

or like some of the old racing Chargers.
