I'm after a 1300 or 1600 inlet manifold so I can practice fitting a larger carb.

Yes that's fine to fit an inch and 3/4 carb.
I'm looking to fit a 2" carb, so the manifold flange will have to be changed or an adapter plate made.

id like to hold onto it untill I have the 1600 in and running....want to tidy it up and get it ready so that as soon as its in place I can work at getting it strated. rather then having to change manifolds over etc. will let you know when I don't need it anymore and if you still want it then, you can have it for postage. cheers

I think it might be a bit over carbed with twin 1 3/4s, have been looking at this chart

twin 1 1/2s would be ideal I rekon
