alternator again!!

Wonder if anyone can help. Ive recently renewed my alternator brushes and regulator and everything was fine. That is until recently when the battery light started coming on again. It seems to dim at high revs but for the most part stays on at full brightness. Is the alternator stuffed or is it just a dodgy regulator/brushes. (I've taken it apart for a second time and can see no issues but still have light on!)

Hmm, i had a similar problem. My alternator gave out so i picked up a second hand one for 40bucks from a guy i know, worked fine for two weeks then gave out as well(charged the batt at 13.3v for 3 days, then nothing:12.4v while engine running)

Have decided just to buy a new 17ACR off trademe for $180, just trying to double check that it will fit.
