what colour do you suggest on a 1970 Avenger?

That orange looks pretty good as it. Well: not the colour I would choose, but if it doesn't need a paint then I would leave it. Original is always the coolest.

BTW: What do you think you are doing buying a 1970? I was quite happy to have the oldest car on this forum.

I always try to keep mine factory colour. But in the end it is down to personal taste.

No, mine was first registered mid 1971. That is pretty rare here in New Zealand, though, as it took a big Rally win in 1973 for Avenger sales to take off.
