Yep: That is why I stuck with the 71 rather than trying to upgrade to another Alpine. It was a good feeling when I could convert my reg from A back to G.

I am just getting my Avenger back on the road and it failed a few things on it's WOF

oh no! what did it fail  on? i somehow managed to time my rego perfectly so that my avenger runs out on 02/04 and then my other car runs out exactly a month after that, which also just happens to be my birthday, DOH!

Rack mount bush, adjust front wheel bearings, & Left rear shock leaking. everything was new when I rebuilt my Avenger a couple of years ago so I am surprised they broke already, I do drive my Avenger pretty hard so I guess breaking stuff is inevitable.

Also they didn't like that it didn't have a boot. It got damaged at my mechanics so it needed to be repainted. I am going down to the panel beaters today to pick the boot up.
