road trip!!!

off tomorrow to pick up the new toy i won on trade me from alexandra where its stored.
me & the kids hope to leave invercargill bout 9am cruise up to alex where the girls get to see it for real- they think its cool & has potential, the boy knows nothing about it yet, lol. pick up avenger then over to cromwell to highland park for a look & maybe some gokarting, then if we got time continue round the long way to queenstown then head south to home
we're driving the avenger home, wanted to avoid the hassle of finding a bigger tow vehicle & trailer, & im logging fuel use for both cars, which should be interesting- injected 2l telstar against 1500 hillman. ford can do 40mpg, hoping avenger can hit around 30+mpg, we'll see.
