Hi all, does anyone out there no if the small rectangle headlights and grill on an avenger can be bolted onto the big rectangle headlight model with little or no modification? Because I see the small rectangle headlights are readily available as their the same as one of the valiant models? But the large rectangle headlights are proving to be extremely hard to find. Any sugestions or info would be great

Try mk4/5 Cortina headlights, I think they can be made to fit.

The early grille won't fit because the indicators are on the side on the late model and underneath on the early model. So the whole front fender and valance are different.

The early model does use the same as the VH Valiants.

I had the same problem on my old race car. I used some smaller rectangle ones because it was all I could get. it looks a bit silly but at least it worked.

never noticed the small squares!

Ah yes I didnt notice the indicators, hmmmm how far do I dare go.
Did your smaller lights fit with the same adjusters and mounts or did you fit the mounts that those smaller lights go with

I can't really remember, I installed those lights over 15 years ago. I think I made up a little bracket and used the adjustors that came with the small ones.

Richards lights look like the common square ones used in Japanese vans like the Toyota Hiace. You can probably pick up a set with buckets pretty cheap online.

Yup, I can't remember what they were off but I just grabbed them from pick-a-part.

Can still get large Chrysler headlights [SEV Mashall or Bosch] from UK. Can get complete with mounting trays also.Only problem [for me importing for stock] is the air-freight cost  is too prohibitive in tying up capitol untill any sale. Great for end user buying direct, whom would "disregard" the freight, just to get their hands on some!
