Im keen as on switch you dont happen to have any round gauges?

I have some left over round gauges from my '75 and my '74 Alpine V8.

I have promised another member first dibs on them but after that I will give you a yell with what I have left.

I've just bought a dash cluster on Trademe...broken mountings, but would like to keep it as spares for my Alpine.
Richard is probably your best bet and they also come up for sale occasionally on eBay UK.
Speedy Spares in the UK sell new gauges. I got an AC Delco rev counter from them.
Not all their parts are listed online, so just email them to request an unlisted part.
When changing gauges try and get the correct brand to match your dash cluster - it will be AC Delco or Smiths.
They may be interchangeable physically but use different fonts on their faces.

Remember when replacing the light switch to fit a headlight relay if your car doesn't already have one?
The light switch, column dip/hi beam switch and fuse box all get munted from high current going through them.
A headlight relay stops that and makes the lights brighter too.
Easy to fit, I have them for $50

if you still have the chrysler set gauge/speedo/face etc youngun also is on the hunt, all his needles are bent and touching the glass

That is common for the needles to bend and touch the glass. you can take them a part and gentle bend them back.

No problem to fix the Chrysler bent needles, had the same situation on my GLS.
The plastic needles bend up from cabin heat over the years and jam on the glass.
Just remove the gauges, heat a knife with a cigarette lighter and place it carefully on the bend under the needle and push the needle down against the hot knife to straighten it again.
