Fuel gauge potential Danger

There is a danger battery voltage being applied to the fuel tank sender because of flaking printed circuitry on Avengers with round clocks.

Was changing the bulbs on mine and I see the copper conductor tracks had become loose around the edge of the strip.

The conducting tracks for the voltmeter, which is unregulated, and the no charge lamp are beside the fuel gauge track.
You don't need up to 14V being applied to a fuel tank sender!
