1980 avenger sport bits

Am after lowering springs for my 1980 chrysler avenger.Does anybody know best place to get some here in NZ.Also am gonna fit 6x13" wheels with 205 60 13 tyres,any one know what offset wheels to use.Cheers.

I got my springs custom made by Cobra Springs. I was able to give them the exact heigth and hardness I wanted and they made them perfectly to suit (see my build thread for my 75 Avenger to see how the car sits on them) http://cobrasprings.co.nz/

I run but 15x8 (225/50/R15) and 15x7 (205/50/R15), both have a 4" backspace but I had to cut a lot out and have to run bolt on wheel arches to get them to fit.

On my old race car, which was a 1980 Chrysler Avenger, I used to run 13x7 (205/60/R13) the front was okay but it did rub at full lock, the back guard had to rolled and it still rubbed.

My '75 used to have 13x6 (185/70/R13) they used to fit fine, I had to remove the lip inside the rear guard to get them to fit but I really didn't see how you would go to 205 on that rim without rubbing. I still have my 13x6 rims so I can measure in need be but I think they were around about 4" backspace also, which would make them +12 offset.
