haha. I wish I was like that but I just get carried away and one thing leads to another and next thing you know everything on my car is custom made.

If you want to spend heaps of money...try electric cars...I'm on my 5th motor...I've spent enough to buy a $60,000 Mitsubishi EV...lol

avenga

Yeah cars sure are money pits. Don't know why we do it. Pretty sure that little voice inside your head that tells you to stop spending money is broken when it comes to cars. Everything else I am really good at saving money on but not cars.

Oh well there are worse things I could be doing with my money.

Awesome work! That engine looks amazing now that it's fully painted.

Loving the wheel and tyre combo. Can't wait to see it at maximum low.

yeh I think I may have some issues up front, there is minimal travel at the mo so dont know how much lower I can go. got carbs all assembled and working properly (ie pistins rising falling freely etc) just missing one fuel bung. Next I need to suss out a cable throttle, think I hit up pick a part tomoro and see If I can find one there.

think I have an issue with the spiggot bearing as well. As the 1600 was originally auto, it doesnt have a spiggot bearing. I got one off graeme but it appears too big. whether thast is beacause the auto crank shaft is different, or there are two sizes of siggot bearings I dont know

Looking sweet with those new rims on.

I noticed in the last set of photos you have the new steering wheel on. I looks really good in there, much better than I imagined it to look. It really suits the car.

yeh its sweet. keen for the dished version though for some more room

avenga

Yeah I have the same problem because I use the same wheel on my race car. Dished ones are pretty hard to find now days but atleast you have the boss and everything so if you ever see one pop up then you can just swap them over.

thers on on tm but dont want to for out 50 bucks lopl

avenga

Damn man, that is one sexy beast. Loving the new photos. The Avenger looks rocking with it's new wheels and stance.

Love the shot with the puddle in front, looks really cool with the reflection. The front on shot and the shot with the Danger sign look cool. Your Avenger looks so hot it needs a warning sign!

Man I am going to have to go out and do more stuff on my Avenger now  ;D

haha yeh I only noticed the reflection after I got home and looked at them otherwise I would have used it better and got the entire car in the reflection and square on etc.

but yeh pretty chuffed with how it looks now

avenga

Looks like a staged shot, bloody good getting that just by chance. It reminds me of a shot one of the MoPar guys took of his Cuda.

liking all the pics i think this colour is cool on an avenger,on the vin tag on the slam panel if its there does it have a code beside the colour? there was also a really nice green that nztigers rally car was before it got painted that i like.
