ive got a WOF coming up soon and i can usually bullshit my way through a few things but i dont think i can get away with this.
One of my headlghts works fine but the other continues to misbehave. It will go on high beam when i tell it to, but when i want it to go just on full it wont, it just stays on dim. ive ruled out a few things
its not headlights, those are breand new
its not the bulbs, those are brand new
Its not likely to be the switch as that is new-ish
i rewired the new headlights to the bit where they adapt to, so its not that

I had the same problem in my old bluebird. It turned out to be a short in the wiring

Check the headlight earths which are fixed to one of the bumper mount bolts, and check both sides....
