That's an awesome wagon, and it's great that you have a parts car as well.

Welcome to the forum.

Richard is the man to ask about hotting up the engine! Strongly suggest twin Dellortos :D

Although it looks like you have much body work ahead of you before you think about the engine.

What are your grand plans?

OMG dude, I think it could be a Van, a theirs no seats in the back.

At the moment the main plans just to get it legit then go from there.
I just put a new diff head in it and put the single carb back on. Still needs the rust sorted, new taillight, air filter, ballast for coil, exhaust needs to be welded back on and I need to make a bracket for the accelerator return spring. Then in theory it will pass a wof.
Yeah it needs a bit of body work I think I got a few days/months of panel work ahead of me. I havn't done any rust repair before so my brother-in-law is going to give me a hand and lend us his garage :)
Eventual plans are to re-do the interior, new paint job and have a car for my wife to be proud to take out with her dad in the humber-hillman club. (her dad has a Humber super snipe)
Just a matter of finding the time to do everything while juggling a baby and trying to sort a house haha. Good things take time.

And to the van comment, awesome though that would be.. there are back seats but they are folded down at the moment because the exhaust and other shit are in the back :)

Mikey, yes it does. When I got it one of them had a Tui bottlecap jammed onto it to add a touch of redneck class. So when looking for a replacement got a set of 4 from Pick-a-Part. I've got window winders coming out my ass haha.

On an interesting side note, the four wheel drive in the background of some of the photos is the Jeep I originally traded for the car. My brother sold it to my dad not long after the trade. Seems my whole family has a fetish for collecting cars and doing nothing with them!

Got taillights for it today! Just waiting for the weather to be a little less crappy and I'll go sort them out. Then it's onto the rust and exahust. Stuff is finally happening after it's been sitting there rusting away for so long. And as an added bonus, even though it's been sadly neglected lately it still starts first try (or at least second try) Man I love my car!
