It has been a real dry spell for Avengers for sale lately.

The Avenger on Trademe has been for sale for ages, Atleast 6 months. It started out at $4,500 and is now down to $3,200 so he must be having trouble selling it.

Last June there was a huge spike in Avengers for sale with 4 wagons, a 2 door and a few 4 door hillmans but since then it has been really quiet, It's one of the reasons I started this forum. Hopefully flush a few old Avengers out from the woodwork.

Good luck with the hunt. I will let you know if I see any for sale.

Yeah that's always the way, or another thing I hate is when you have been looking for a rare part for ages then you finally find one and you have to pay ridiculous amounts for it then the next week a few show up on trademe for like half what you just brought them for.

But that is half the fun of owning classic cars. hunting around looking for stuff, wouldn't have it any other way.

You'll be fine Richard...just be careful in the wet....lol
BTW it's my old Avenger, only done 134,000 kms and with the new motor it'll be a minta!!
Throw the Weber and extractors on it and she'll fly....
You can't beat the sound of a hot auto going through the gears!!

avenga

Small world. Hopefully someone from the forum buys it. It would be cool to have yet another Auto Avenger on the Forum.
