[WANTED] NOS Lucas Solenoid (Pre-Eng) or repair kit

Want to do this properly. If I chucked another spare on - this last one's only lasted a few months - then I've got no guarantee that something won't happen to that. Anybody know where I can go for New Old Stock parts since Collins is gone? A whole starter would be even better, though I'm assuming the solenoid itself would be easier to find. Whatevs.

Ive got a spare working Lucas starter. Its second hand though....

Hmm... suppose if something did go wrong then I could always make one out of the two halves. Deal. How much you want for it?

I have a spare starter, free - unknown but presumed working condition (guess you'd need to pay shipping) and will of course have my working starter from the current car in a few weeks too.

Um. About that. If it is standard spec then it will depend if mine is a TC motor or not. What is the best way to check that without taking too much apart?

Regardless would be keen for one or both starters.
