Needing this for my drivers door.

Constantly loose, after a medium period driving over some bumps it will often come totally loose and door opens!

Also, sometime when you close the door it doesn't attach properly and door just bounces back open =\

Will pay cash/beer/etc.

Anyone? :D

hey dude its an easy fix, the spring inside the door catch breaks ( often found at the bottom of the door ) new spring fitted will fix your problem, if you have a manual take a look at the picture, you should see it and where it fits

Oh awesome.

Where would I be able to find a replacement spring? Anywhere that sells springs? Pull a working one out of another door and hunt for springs?

I would have assumed that if the latch wasnt holding the door locked shut whilst driving, that it would be something more than just a spring...I thought the spring was just in place to ensure the latch opened when you opened the door/lifted the door handle...

I have a few spare doors down it my garage. After the weekend I will go down and see if I have any drivers doors.

As the same thing has happend to me you will be supprised what just a spring can do, it holds the locking tag down on the catch without it it just floats, so hitting bumps or slamming the door makes it jump hence catch is free and door opens,  ;)
