Alternators, Whats best?

So My Lucas 17Acr finally gave up, Ive put new brushes in but its still no good. My options are get a brand new 17Acr $89 when you know the right people. Or get a higher output one, as I have a sub & amp wich sucks a bit of juice. Whats a good alternator to use? I heard later model Avengers had a Mitsubishi one? Any sugestions would be great.

a sparky mate hooked me up with a new mitsi one fairly early on in the piece. no issues for years - recommended.

The 17ACR is only 38A....no good for powering subs and amps...lol
Any 2 wire alternator can be used, just needs to have a single V pulley and be suitable for r/h mounting.
This 65A Mazda one on TradeMe might be okay?
