Hae Guys,

Looking for a set of good Tyres and Rims for my Avenger Van, wanting a type of rim thats completely different to others on avengers but that will suit ''Maggie''.

Anything with a 4x108 pattern, or extremly close to 4x108 pattern, As do not want to flare the guards and am trying to keep it as original as possible! Let me know if you have any ideas with size/width of tyres as well as Rims/mags.

Cheers Mikey.

I will be selling my tridents shortly (see picture of them in the header)

They have near new 185/70/R13 Goodyear GT3, which is really good rubber. The rims are 13x6" and they fit under the guards without rubbing.

Your wagon would look nice lowered on Richards tridents, With some narrow band whitewall tyres maybe??? Ive got Tridents & whitewalls on my triumph and they look awesome.

Tridents aren't really different, though. Apart from tha you can't really go wrong with them.

What about a nice set of Rostyles? They did come standard on some GTs and upper model Avengers, though maybe not in NZ? Unsure. They aren't really all that common though, and definitely would be pretty cool/different on the estate.

Especially if you can find some deep dish ones like on this Opel:

Those deep dish rostyles are lush! But you;d probly have to get a standard set and send them away to be widened.

Sweet ,Cheers fellas, keep the ideas coming!, I have to admit i do love Keira's pair of Rims, which are completely different and very cool!

Oh Sweet as Richard,Mmay i ask how much you would be looking to sell them for?? Could be interested.
Heres a pair of Modgies, powder coated black, which i am quiet keen on, but not sure if you would have to flare the guards or not?? As these i think would suit my Avenger Van, and make it look pretty sweeet.
They are,  13 by 7's , and have 2 205/60r13's. I Sound picky hahah , but am not to keen on lowering her ae, as im trying to keep her as original as possible!

I am going for the 15" black D window steelie which look a lot like those modgies.

I run 13x7 hotwires with 205/60r13's on my races car and I had to flare my guards.

Here is a shot of them on my race car

185 is prob the widest you can go.

also i reckon you can lower 30mm [only size they come off the shelf] without ruining the stock look. my old 76 was that low but it needed to be even lower. as contrast i want to drop my super 2″.

I agree. I have 185 on the 6 inch tridents I will be selling and they fit really well.

Here are some shots of my Avenger with the 185's on.

is your car lowered at all, rich?

here's another photo

prob ruined my own point, here, i don't remember it being so low at the front. think its just the angle and terrible photo [who misses film cameras?] but that should give you an idea, mikey, of what tridents look like with a bit of tweeking of the ride height. the effect with stock paint would be less mental.
Chill Datto, bro!

Yeah it is. It looks really high in that photo. This photo shows it's ride height better.

Front tyre sits about level with the top of the arch and rear arch overlaps the tyre by an inch or two.
