If I had the funds I would like to do a rotary conversion myself, and I would be looking at getting a 12a. Or smaller even - but I don't think anything else is really available any more. The reason behind this, of course, would be because my recipient vehicle of choice would be a Sunbeam Imp. :D
Chill Datto, bro!

The E55 had a 340.

After they ran out of 340's they brought out the slower 360 E57

You could get the Charger 770 E55 SE (the collectable one) in VH-VJ and the E57 in VJ-VK. After VK the biggest and only V8 was the 318 Fireball

First one: Who knows! they have no pictures and very little info to back in up. you would need to see the option plate on the firewall.

Second one: the 360 would have been put in later as it is a CL and you couldn't get a 360 by then. you would have to check the option plate. it would have a K option, the K means police special.

it is probably a K16 which includes the 318 ci, 16:1 ratio Steering Gear, B12, C63, D75, F22, T15

Nope. Chrysler didn't buy AMC till 1987

You can see from one of the photos on that trademe auction that the port order is different.

On a hemi 6 it is

EIEIEIEIEIEI

And on the AMC it is

EIIEIEEIEIIE

E= Exhaust I= Inlet

Also if you look at the other side of the block they are very different. The hemi 6 has inspection cover over the lifters and pushrods but the AMC doesn't.

That is awesome. I love how they kept it rear engined, they did well to squeeze the engine under the tray of the ute.

This 1964 Hillman Minx looks like good value...is registered and comes with a teddy bear!
Drop in an Avenger 1600 motor/gearbox and she'll be sweet!
