Escorts and Avengers use the same brake pads and the same 4 x 108 stud pattern, so probably a good bet?

rs 2000 vented discs and m16 calipers are a popular upgrade in the uk,or 2.8 capri and princess 4 pot calipers are easy enough to do also.

Ford discs have different bolt holes so need machining and the disc is thicker so need to change caliper to P16s.

I use 2.8i Capri discs with p16 calipers (with sapcer kits), but fitted to Ford hubs, that also need a spacer on the stub axle to suite Ford oil seal and to get the correct caliper/disc alignment....and I needed to change wheel studs (When I bought the car it had ford wheels nuts on the frt and avenger on the back)

I mite ask my Grandfather in the UK to price me some up from Brown bros. Hopefully freight wont be too expensive
