we / NZ only got 2 door Series 8's is that right? (Chrysler Avenger / 79-80's?)

We never got the 2 doors over here in NZ. Todd motors wanted to do the GTO in the 2 door and the Avenger in the 4 door.

In the UK the 2 door ran from '73 to '79 but as that is from Iran I think it is a "Hillman e 2 dar e montage iraan"

The Avenger was built in Iran from 1978?1980 in two-door, 69 hp (51 kW) form by Iran Khodro Co. and called "Hillman e 2 dar e montage iraan" aside the locally manufactured Hillman Hunter (called Paykan). The engine used in was the Hunter engine as also used in the Paykan.

I'm shocked a Paykan (Hunter) motor was fitted into the Avenger in Iran...it was the other way around according to this article...even RWD Peugeots were fitted with Avenger motors!!
