"Avengertiger" Asked me to post some of his Avenger pictures so here you go.

Start with a BRM twin cam Avenger, I have always wanted to see one of these but I doubt you will ever get one in NZ. Oh well, thats what lotto tickets are for.

as an aside the pic of loi above has just been found in a barn in northen ireland and is currently under restoration it was originally rallied by robin eyre maunsell in northern ireland i should be able to get some pics of the work being carried out i believe robin is to drive it again once completed.

Cool article, Good to see people those old rally cars. Have you got a copy of the whole article?

I see it mentions Andrew Cowan's Avenger winning the 1976 Heatway Rally of New Zealand. When I get some of my old Avenger articles scanned I will start a thread for Andrew Cowan pictures and info.

yesterday i was going down a street in napier but then i realised i was on the wrong street of where i needed to be so i was like ok, ill just hook a u-turn behind this parked escort. got a bit closer and it was a bright yellow/orange avenger. and it was mint! im going to go back to the street today and try and take a sneaky picture of it if its still there. has anyone else around HB seen it though? also my friend rekons shes seen a pink one but i think shes bulshitting, she gets them mixed up with rx3's all the time

Its a bright yellow one 76 1600 super I think, it is mint, well was the last time I seen it.....prob near a year ago
