I already have 1 set of rims so if you need them more go ahead :P

wots ur TM name?

can get a set of 13" slicks for about $100 ( ex toyota racing series )

Mines "Burntwood" But yeah, depends what they go for, if they will fit on my car without flares and what mainfreight is going to sting me to get them down here. Otherwise you should buy them as they are closer to you.

avenga

I don't think 13x9 would fit without flares.

I run 13x7 with 205/60/R13 tyres on my race car and I had to roll the guards. We test fit some 15x8 with 225/50/R15 on my '75 and it sits about an inch or 2 outside the guard.

I dont know I've been doing some measuring up. with the measurements the guy gave the rears will problably stick out the guards by 1.5 inches. But I will be running 185/55/r13s so they will be fairly stretched, and hopefully just tuck under the guards. Im sure mr. Policeman wont like it though.

avenga

Yeah 185 on a 9" will be pretty stretched. my 225 on 8" is pretty much a flat side wall, but that's just the look I like.

I don't think I could get away with 15x9 with a flat side wall. 225 width is getting pretty big for a small car so I don't think I would want to go any bigger.

Kiera is running 14x8 on the back with 175/70/r14 tyres and they are pretty stretched.

mINE is an atv : no wprries about legal!

edit : very grey area so could be big fine one dahy.... (yes drunk

They just cleaned up that area recently, so I wouldn't be too certain anymore. Heaps of people got kicked off A reg. It took long enough: I haven't paid for a full G reg since 2004 or so. Luckily I now qualify for classic registration! :D

What are the costs for a car with Rally/Competition exemptions?
Chill Datto, bro!

JoKer

yea I re-registered as an ATV : car rego still on hold/exempt

I literally am in so much trouble if I get pinged...

BUT it does meet all requirements for ATV reg! (prove it doesnt I dare ya)

These caught my eye: roof racks.

How long has that matt black car been up there? Looks to be a pretty decent parts car if you could argue him down a bit.

I saw those roof racks, but would they fit on an Avenger? They say they are for a VH Valiant, I own a VH Valiant and I can tell you they are a hell of a lot bigger than an Avenger.

I think it is the 2nd time that matte black Avenger has been listed so I would say it has been up there for a couple of weeks.

I was working under the impression they could be shortened, or where otherwise adjustable.

avenga

I am guessing you would have to cut it down.

You could do what Andrew A.K.A Hunted did on his Avenger (Now Sam A.K.A 1300Supers Avenger)

Although I am a big fan of racks like that - got one of my Van now (with proper gutter mounts) - I don't think they work for Avengers. Hunters and squarer cars: yes. Maybe an Estate could get away with it if done right, but it would take a lot to convince me.

See: That looks good, and is essentially what that listing is for isn't it?

Check out the Sunbeam Ute in the same album...

Yeah those work well on a wagon with it's longer roof. I could see the VH Valiant ones working on a wagon but an Avenger sedan has a pretty small roof.
