For those of you that may need to replace the crank seal in the timing cover I thought I'd throw up the details so you can collect parts ahead of time.

The seal size is 1.75"x2.5"x0.375" (1 3/4 x 2 1/2 x 3/8). Standard fitment is single lip, however I am refitting a double lip.
Only cost me $6 from my local seal/bearing supplier.

Another item you may need is a 1.75" Speedi - sleeve. These are a very thin stainless steel sleeve that fits over the seal position on the pulley if it is worn as mine is, you can fit one of these in leiu of having the pulley machined down and sleeved.

I have a leek from the front now too :/ that wee sleeve may be key!

If you have any sort of groove in your pulley you will end up with a leak. It doesn't take much to take the tension off the seal lip.
I am machining mine and sleeving rather than using a speedi, only coz I can get to a lathe this week and it cost me 0. However we use speedi sleeves at times to repair shafts in service - they do work.
